Stuff the Bus School Supply Program
United Way of Norman distributes free school supplies to income-eligible families in Norman and some surrounding communities. Pre-K through 12th-grade students in southern Cleveland County, Garvin County, and McClain Count can apply for the Stuff the Bus School Supply Program.
Many people in Norman are eligible to file their taxes for free and can receive help preparing their forms through programs supported by the United Way of Norman and its partners. Taxpayers save an average of $200 in fees by using these services. Many people also find they can get money back from the IRS through Earned Income Tax Credits, Child Tax Credits, and other credits.
When the United Way campaign starts at your office, make sure your donation goes to your hometown. If you work in another city, it's easy to invest your charitable contribution in your community. Just remember to use your designation code when you pledge.
