United Way of Norman funds 42 programs at 29 organizations in the Norman area. These programs are divided among four Impact Areas: Education, Financial Stability, Health and Independence. Provides enrichment opportunities for Norman Public School students (ages 6-18) centered on academic success, healthy lifestyles and character and leadership development. After school programming is designed to provide resource connections for families and opportunities for improved social skills, self-esteem and child development.

Healing and Preventing Child Abuse and Neglect
Counseling and family therapy services for children (ages 0-17) are provided to support healing from complex trauma. Provides support, education, and case management for biological, foster, and adoptive parents and other caregivers to address the effects of child abuse and neglect to ensure children’s future safety and well-being.
