WHAT IS TAN?
Teen Advisors of Norman (TAN) is a United Way of Norman youth initiative. The group is open to incoming sophomores, juniors and seniors that want to take the initiative of identifying problems and issues that kids, teens and families face, and address a way to solve them. This will involve fundraising, volunteer work, monthly meetings and a commitment to the cause.

What does TAN do?
Students organize the group's activities around their goals of helping young people in the community and creating a positive image of teenagers. TAN seeks out issues and problems concerning teenagers, then the group addresses ways to solve the problems. TAN participation involves fundraising, volunteer work, monthly meetings and a commitment to the cause.
How can I join?
There is an application process every spring. Norman High & Norman North counselors have access to the applications. There is a link to the application above. You can also contact the United Way for more information at 329.2025.
Can TAN help my organization?
Organizations can fill out a request form for projects they would like TAN to assist with. Forms can be mailed or emailed to the United Way of Norman.
