Community Needs Network

What is the Community Needs Network?

The Community Needs Network seeks to better understand the hopes and needs of our community as a whole and the individuals who call Norman and southern Cleveland County home.

The Community Needs Network is comprised of educators, researchers, policymakers, planners, funders, service providers and community partners. These individuals and groups have joined in collaboration to identify the needs and assets in our area to find solutions and opportunities that will help strengthen our community.

Community Needs Network Report

In 2019-2020, the Community Needs Network conducted research to identify what needs are being met in our community and where there might be gaps in service. This report presents the findings of the community assessment questionnaire completed by residents of Norman, Oklahoma. The assessment was developed with input from the United Way of Norman, University of Oklahoma and approximately 30-40 different systems, organizations and community sectors.
