ABC School Supply Program

Each year, United Way of Norman distributes free school supplies to low-income families in Norman and some surrounding communitites. In 2012, almost 1,000 students received school supplies from the ABC program.

Pre-K through 12th grade students in Norman, Noble, Little Axe, Lexington and Robin Hill are eligible to apply for the ABC School Supply Program. However, families must meet specific income guidelines to qualify.

WHEN & WHERE

Sign up for ABC School Supplies will be July 14 - July 18 at Crosspointe Church, 2601 24th Ave SE (near Highway 9 and 24th Ave SE). Intake will take place from 9am - 1pm each day. 

WHAT YOU NEED

Families must bring all of the following information to the intake process in order for their application to be processed:

  • Current proof of income- This includes documentation of all TANF, DHS and SSI funding, payroll, child support and/or any other sources of income.
  • Current proof of residence
  • Social Security cards for all family members
  • Current Drivers License or Photo ID card

PLEASE NOTE: Unless ALL INFORMATION is supplied, your children's information CANNOT be processed or approved.
