The weather has been crazy, and you’ve had a lot going on. So if you’ve put off nominating someone for Volunteer of the Year, it’s understandable. But don’t miss your chance to honor those people in our community who give selflessly of themselves to better the lives of others.

Time is running out! Volunteer of the Year nominations are due this Friday! 

This year’s awards will include a new Group category. Recipients will be honored at a luncheon April 9 in the following six categories: 

• Humanitarian

• Civic

• Service to Youth/Education

• Senior Citizen

• Young Citizen

• Group

  

A complete description of each category, guidelines for nominations and nomination forms are available online here . The deadline for nominations is February 12 at 5 p.m.
